ZenWatt 23.12

This is a new app for changing the power limit of Ryzen mobile CPUs in laptops and Mini-PCs. It is powered by the RyzenAdj utility.

You can use it to:

  • Increase the power limit for better performance
  • Reduce the power limit for better battery life
  • Reduce the thermal limit so that your laptop runs cooler

For example, I have a laptop with a Ryzen 5600H CPU that runs at 45W.

  • Running it at 15W doubles the battery life with nearly 70% of the max performance.
  • Running it at 30W with an 80C limit provides good performance with less heat.

Some benchmarks for Ryzen 5600H:
